Post Graduate Work Permit
If you're an international student who recently graduated from a Canadian post-secondary institution, you may be eligible for a Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP).

The PGWP allows you to work in Canada for up to three years after graduation. To be eligible for the PGWP, you must have completed a program of study that was at least eight months long at a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) in Canada.

Once you have completed your studies, you can apply for the PGWP through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The length of your permit will depend on the length of your program of study, up to a maximum of three years.

The PGWP is a great option for international students who want to gain Canadian work experience and potentially apply for permanent residency in the future. Working in Canada can also help you improve your language skills and build your professional network.

Navigating the PGWP application process can be complex, and there are strict deadlines for submitting your application. At 10-4 Overseas, we work with licensed immigration consultants that can help guide you through every step of the process, from gathering the necessary documentation to submitting your application to IRCC.
